Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, measurement methods, quality assessment procedures, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of measuring condenser microphones (hereinafter referred to as microphones). This standard applies to laboratory standard microphones, working standard microphones and engineering measurement microphones.
