Scope

This specification specifies the requirements for heat tracing and insulation design of petrochemical automatic control engineering instruments and measuring pipelines. This specification is applicable to the heat tracing and insulation design of automatic control instruments and measuring pipelines in new, expanded, and reconstructed projects for petroleum refining, petrochemicals, and coal-based fuel and chemical product plants.
