This part specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments, sample processing, analysis steps and result calculations for the determination of cadmium in waste chemicals by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. This section is applicable to the determination of cadmium content in waste chemicals such as chemical waste residues, wastewater (liquid), waste surface treatment agents, paint residues, etc. It can also be used to determine the cadmium content in soil or sludge. The cadmium content in the tested liquid was 0.002 mg/L~1.00 mg/L.
