Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of mica for cosmetics. This standard applies to mica used in cosmetics, including synthetic fluorphlogopite, natural sericite and muscovite. This product is used in cosmetics to cover, improve skin tone, whiten and shield ultraviolet rays.
