Scope

This standard specifies the connection dimensions of threaded connection and clamp-type auxiliary handles of hand-held power tools. This standard applies to the threaded connection type and clamp-type auxiliary handles (hereinafter referred to as handles) of hand-held power tools (hereinafter referred to as tools). This standard does not apply to auxiliary handles used for adjustment and other purposes.
