Scope

This standard specifies the precision method for free-field calibration of standard condenser microphones using reciprocity technology, and its detailed provisions are the basis for calibration comparisons between various authoritative organizations. This standard is only applicable to φ23.77mm condenser microphones. Since the calibration method and various factors affecting the calibration accuracy are introduced and analyzed in detail, the total calibration accuracy can be estimated.
