Scope
This standard specifies the grades and markings, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of copper and copper alloy castings (hereinafter referred to as castings). This standard is applicable to castings of copper and copper alloy sand casting, metal casting, continuous casting, centrifugal casting and investment casting. Castings produced by other methods can also be implemented by reference.
