Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, basic regulations, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of self-operated flow control valves for heating and air conditioning. This standard is applicable to the circulating water (or ethylene glycol solution) system of central heating and central air conditioning. It does not need external power drive of the system, and can rely on its own mechanical structure to maintain a stable flow rate by using the system pressure difference. Self-operated flow control valve (hereinafter referred to as referred to as the control valve).
