Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of chloramine T in cosmetics by high performance liquid chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of chloramine T in cream, water, loose powder, shampoo, toothpaste cosmetics. This standard does not apply to products added with p-toluenesulfonamide. The detection limit of this standard for chloramine T is 8.0 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 16.5 mg/kg.
