Scope

This standard specifies the atomic fluorescence spectrometry method for determination of mercury, arsenic and lead content in imported and exported cosmetics. This standard is applicable to the determination of mercury, arsenic and lead in cosmetics such as creams, essential oils, lipsticks, lotions and perfumes.
