- Scope
- This part of ISO 19232 provides guidance for determining image quality numbers and image quality tables. If the image quality requirements according to Part 3 of this standard cannot be used, for example because the absorption coefficients of the BPK material and the material examined differ by more than 30%, test recordings are necessary to ensure the acceptance of image quality numbers. The image quality numbers achieved through test exposures are required for all radiographs taken under the same radiographic conditions.
