Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for type testing of sensitive components and sensors of instrumentation and control systems important to the safety of nuclear power plants, including type testing requirements for newly developed or improved sensitive components and sensors. This standard is applicable to type testing of sensitive components and sensors of instruments and control systems important for safety in nuclear power plants.
