Scope
This standard specifies the requirements and methods for the calculation and measurement of neutron fluence of light water-cooled reactor pressure vessels in a neutron irradiation environment, as well as temperature environment monitoring and supervis on tests for changes in mechanical properties of ferrite materials, to determine reactor pressure. The conditions for safe operation of the container so that it maintains its integrity throughout its design life. This standard is applicable to the irradiation supervis on of light water-cooled reactor pressure vessels with a maximum neutron fluence greater than 1×10 n/cm (E>1 MeV) on the inner surface of the reactor pressure vessel barrel at the end of the design life.
