This part specifies the requirements for the manufacturing, testing, inspection and acceptance of manganese-nickel-molybdenum alloy steel thick steel plates for the pressure-bearing boundary of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This section applies to 16MnNiMoHR alloy steel plates used for the pressure-bearing boundary of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants and 18MnNiMoHR alloy steel for the pressure-bearing boundary of steam generators.
