- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for electrostatic protective clothing for 1000kV AC systems. This standard applies to AC high-voltage electrostatic protective clothing worn by personnel inspecting AC transmission lines and substations with a rated voltage of 1000kV and working on ground potential. Electrostatic protective clothing for 1000kV AC systems made in accordance with this standard shall not be used as equipotential shielding clothing.
