Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of marine high-pressure manual ball valves (hereinafter referred to as ball valves). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of ball valves for pipeline systems with working pressures of 6.4 MPa~32 MPa and mediums such as air, carbon dioxide and hydraulic oil.
