Scope
1.0.1 This specification is formulated in order to implement the national technical and economic policies in the appraisal and reinforcement of existing building slopes, to achieve advanced technology, safety and reliability, economical rationality, quality assurance and environmental protection. 1.0.2 This code is applicable to the identification and reinforcement of the existing building slope engineering and rock foundation pit slope with a rock slope height of less than 30m (including 30m) and an earth slope height of less than 15m (including 15m). Slope reinforcement projects exceeding the above-mentioned heights and slope reinforcement projects with complex geological and environmental conditions shall not only comply with this code, but also carry out special design and take effective and reliable reinforcement measures. 1.0.3 The identification and reinforcement of soft soil, collapsible loess, permafrost and expansive soil and other special rock and soil and erosive environment, as well as earthquake zone and post-disaster building slope engineering shall comply with this code and national standards. The provisions of the corresponding professional standards in force. 1.0.4 The identification and reinforcement of the existing building slope engineering shall not only comply with this code, but also comply with the current relevant national standards.
