Scope

This International Standard specifies a basic series and a supplementary series of raw formats for sheets to be trimmed to the formats specified in ISO 216. In addition, a system for labeling raw formats will be introduced. Furthermore, this International Standard specifies a system for specifying the machine direction of raw formats.
