- The standard describes possibilities for the stability monitoring of form measuring systems. The stability monitoring is necessary for the evaluation of the long-term behaviour of measuring processes. It serves as proof of continuously correct results of measurement. The described stability monitoring contains the execution of planned measurements at the setting up site for the proof of the instrumentation characteristics within given limit values.
