1.1This standard specifies the maximum allowable concentrations of pollution parameters of thermal power plant using fossil-fuel burning technology (coal,petroleum, gas) emitted into the ambient air.
This standard is also applied to appreciate and assess environmental requirements for newly built thermal power projects or improvement and enlargement of working thermal power plants.
1.2This standard does not apply for thermal power plants which do not use fuel burning technology other than fossil fuels.
