This standard specifies the raw materials and processing hygienic requirements for fruit and vegetable juices (pulp) used in the import and export food industry, the sampling and inspection of finished products, and the judgment and disposal of inspection results. This standard is applicable to the inspection of imported and exported fruit and vegetable juices (pulps) made from fruits and vegetables as raw materials, processed through cleaning, juice extraction (or pulping), concentration, sterilization and other processes, and used for blending into beverages or processed foods. This standard does not apply to the inspection of prepackaged finished products.
