Scope

This International Standard specifies a test method for determining the electric field generated by a running light conveyor belt in accordance with ISO 21183-1. This dynamic test is necessary because the antistatic behavior of lightweight conveyor belts cannot always be adequately described by measurements of the electrical resistances according to ISO 21178.
