This International Standard specifies test methods for determining the electrical resistances of lightweight conveyor belts in accordance with ISO 21183-1. The resistances are the surface resistance, the volume resistance perpendicular to the belt surface and the volume resistance in the longitudinal and transverse directions parallel to the belt surface. This International Standard also specifies two test methods for determining surface resistivity and volume resistivity.
