This International Standard specifies requirements for textile conveyor belts with rubber and/or plastic covers for general surface applications on flat or troughed idlers. This International Standard is not applicable or valid for lightweight conveyor belts according to ISO 21183-1. Details which are not requirements of this International Standard but are to be agreed between the manufacturer and the purchaser are included in Annex A. A list of details, which is intended to be provided to the purchaser of the belt when making an inquiry, is given in Appendix B.
