Scope

This Standard precribes the method for the determination of bulk specific gravity and density of laboratory compacted specimens of asphalt concrete mixtures or samples extracted from field sections. This test may be used on the design or for the evaluation and control of asphalt mixtures, produced in the lab, plant or applied on field sections.
