Scope

This section of Part 2 of da ABNT NBR IEC 60598 specifies requirements for fixed general purpose luminaires for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 1000 V. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of Part 1 to which reference is made.
