- This standard specifies two types of cybradiol, alpha-2,7,11-cybratriene-4,6-diol and beta-2,7,11-cybratriene-4,6-diol, in tobacco and tobacco products. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of terpene alcohols. This standard is applicable to the determination of alpha-2,7,11-cebratriene-4,6-diol and beta-2,7,11-cebratriene-4,6-diol in tobacco and tobacco products. The detection limits of this method for the determination of alpha-2,7,11-cebratriene-4,6-diol and beta-2,7,11-cebratriene-4,6-diol in tobacco and tobacco products are respectively 0.4 g/g and 0.3 g/g, and the limits of quantification are 1.3 g/g and 0.9 g/g respectively.
