Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificates of cerium, gadolinium and terbium oxides. This standard applies to cerium, gadolinium and terbium oxides prepared by chemical methods and used for making rare earth phosphors, green powders, etc.
