Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of Class A neck lap welded steel flanges (hereinafter referred to as flanges). This standard applies to the design, manufacturing and acceptance of flanges with nominal pressures PN20 (Class150), PN50 (Class300), PN110 (Class600) and operating temperatures not higher than 450°C.
