Scope: This standard specifies the structural type, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of fully pressurized liquefied gas storage tanks (hereinafter referred to as storage tanks) for liquefied gas transport ships. This standard is applicable to liquefied gas transport ships with a design vapor pressure not greater than 2.0 MPa and a design temperature not lower than -10°C. The storage media can be liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), liquid ammonia, vinyl chloride (VCM), dimethyl ether (DME) ) and other liquefied gases, design, manufacture and acceptance of fully pressured C-type independent storage tanks.
