- This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of marine water separation filtration devices (hereinafter referred to as filtration devices). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of filtration devices for separating water from diesel fuel.
