Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging and quality certificates for hot-rolled annealed bars (hereinafter referred to as bars) for high-strength bolts of marine diesel engines. This standard applies to the design, manufacturing and acceptance of 30Ni4CrlMo hot-rolled bars with a diameter not larger than 85 mm.
