Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine hydraulic ball stop valves (hereinafter referred to as ball valves). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of marine ball valves using petroleum-based hydraulic oil as the working medium. The design, manufacturing and acceptance of ball valves used in other industries such as mining, metallurgy, engineering machinery and agricultural machinery can also be used as a reference.
