Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, materials, welding process evaluation, manufacturing, and quality inspection for welded composite manufacturing of continuous casting rolls. The welding methods applicable to this standard include electrode arc welding, gas shielded arc welding, self-shielded arc welding, submerged arc welding and their combinations. The welded composite manufacturing of other roller types can also refer to this standard.
