This standard specifies the terminology, classification, size, shape and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of various types of soft magnetic alloy tape wound cores. This standard is applicable to ring-shaped iron cores wound with various types of soft magnetic alloy strips (including nickel-iron series, iron-silicon series rolled steel strips and iron-based and cobalt-based quick-quenching thin strips).
