Scope

This standard specifies performance test methods for automotive gasoline filter assemblies (hereinafter referred to as filters) in order to make laboratory performance test results of filters comparable. This standard applies to filters for automobile gasoline engines with a rated volumetric flow rate below 3.5L/min (210L/h).
