- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of oil separators for air conditioning and refrigeration equipment (hereinafter referred to as "oil separators"). This standard is applicable to oil separators with R22, R32, R134a, R404A, R407C, and R410A as refrigerant fluids, with a design pressure not greater than 5.0 MPa, an inner diameter not greater than 150 mm, and a volume not greater than 0.025 m. This standard does not apply to ammonia refrigeration systems.
