- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of piping components for air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. This standard is applicable to piping fittings that use R22, R134a, R404A, R407C, and R410A as refrigerants and are mainly made of copper or brass. Pipe fittings whose medium is other refrigerants can be used as a reference.
