- 1.0.1 This specification is formulated in order to unify the technical requirements for the design of dredging and reclamation projects, improve the survey, design quality and technical level of dredging and reclamation projects, and promote the advancement of dredging and reclamation technology. 1.0.2 This specification applies to the design of dredging and filling for port and waterway projects. The design of artificial islands, beach protection, excavation and covering of submarine pipeline trenches, land reclamation and other similar projects can be implemented with reference to this specification. 1.0.3 In addition to complying with the provisions of this code, the design of dredging and reclamation projects shall also comply with the provisions of relevant current national standards.
