- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms, definitions, symbols, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of glass fiber reinforced bars for civil engineering. This standard is applicable to glass fiber reinforced bars used in civil engineering such as anchorage support of tunnels, slopes and foundation pits, enclosure structures of shield working shafts, continuously reinforced concrete pavements and bridge deck structures. This standard does not apply to glass fiber reinforcements used in prestressed concrete structures.
