AMS5880E rescinds the previous cancellation and supersession, and at the same tim estabilizes the document becasue it still has use in the bearing industry. For historical reference, revision D of AMS5880 cancelled the document and superseded it with AMD 5618 AMS5880E has been declared ""STABILIZED"" and will no longer be subjected to periodic reviews for currency. Users are responsible for verifying references and continued suitability of technical requirements. New technology may exist. The last technical update of this document occured in May, 2006.
