Scope: This part of SN/T 3237 specifies the sampling, inspection and qualification determination methods for the safety performance and energy efficiency of imported and exported high-efficiency motors. This section is applicable to three-phase AC power supply with rated voltage of 1000V and below, rated frequency of 50Hz and 60Hz, rated power in the range of 0.75kW ~ 315kW, single-speed closed self-winding fans with number of poles of 2-pole, 4-pole and 6-pole. Inspection of cold-type, N-design, continuous-duty general-purpose cage-type three-phase AC induction motors (hereinafter referred to as "motors"). This section does not apply to the inspection of variable frequency motors, multi-speed motors, wound rotor motors, explosion-proof motors, and special motors for other purposes.
