Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, quality instructions and contract (or order) content for carbon/carbon composite crucibles used in single crystal drawing furnaces. This standard applies to carbon/carbon composite material crucibles used in single crystal drawing furnaces in the semiconductor field, and also applies to carbon/carbon composite material crucibles used in other high-temperature furnaces for purifying polycrystalline silicon and smelting metals.
