- This standard specifies the detection and enumeration methods of Legionella in circulating cooling water. This standard is applicable to the detection and enumeration of Legionella in circulating cooling water, as well as the detection and enumeration of Legionella in raw water, domestic water and other industrial water. The detection of Legionella in related samples such as sediments and biological slimes in circulating cooling water systems can also refer to this standard.
