- Scope
- This International Standard specifies a gas chromatogrphic method for the determination of hydrocarbon impurities in ethylene for industrial use. The method is applicable to the determination of the impurities listed in annex B and principally to the determination of - mathane(CH4)at concentrations greater than 5ml/m3; - ethane (CH3-CH3)at concentrations greater than 5ml/m3; - acrtylene(ethyne)(CH≡CH)at concentrations greater than 1ml/m3; - proylene(CH3-CH2-CH3)at at concentrations greater than 2ml/m3; - propylene(propene)(CH2=CH-CH3)at concentrations greater than 2ml/m3.
