- Scope
- This part applies to the design and production of refrigeration systems, including pipelines, components, materials and ancillary equipment directly connected to the system; and stipulates the requirements for testing, operation, marking and documentation of refrigeration systems. Gaseous heat transfer fluids, the requirements for heat transfer fluid circuits do not fall within the scope of this part, but this part still applies to any safety devices related to refrigeration systems. This part does not apply to refrigeration systems using air or water as the refrigerant. It also does not include requirements for refrigeration equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres. The auxiliary equipment of the refrigeration system includes: ——fans and fan motors; ——motors and transmission mechanisms of open compressors.
