Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs and product instructions, as well as packaging, transportation and storage of industrial computer-controlled embroidery machines. This standard applies to computer-controlled embroidery machines (hereinafter referred to as "embroidery machines") that do not have special embroidery devices attached and only consis of lock stitches to form patterns.
