Scope

This standard specifies the protocol testing requirements for communications between media gateways and media gateway controllers, and between media gateways and softswitches. This standard applies to MEGACO/H.248 protocol testing in media gateway controllers (MGC)/softswitch equipment and media gateways (MG). This standard does not apply to performance testing.
