Scope

This standard specifies the evaluation and testing methods for energy efficiency parameters of Ethernet switches. This standard applies to Ethernet switch equipment, including fixed port switches and modular switches. The Ethernet switches involved in this standard do not include wireless interfaces or the wireless ports are closed. At the same time, this standard only involves energy efficiency parameters among energy saving parameters.
