Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of film-forming phenolic resins used for offset printing plates. This standard applies to film-forming phenolic resins for thermoplastic offset printing plates synthesized from alkylphenols and formaldehyde.
